Whole Number- 843 is seperated from its Decimal number 986 using a dot.

9 tenths = 9/10
This can also be written as 0.9
8 hundredths = 8/100
8/100 can also be represented as 0.08
6 thousandths = 6/1000
This is written as 0.006
